Coffee Cadenzas is a community concert series by Kickstart Opera, inviting musicians from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland to share their music with the local community surrounded by artwork and of course...a cup of coffee! The aim is to provide accessibility to a variety of genres of music, support cultural hubs in the community and provide professional opportunity for emerging artists.

Join us at The Burrell Collection this June and July for the Summer programme. Starting at 10:30am, enjoy a short Collection talk followed by a live musical performance (1 hr 30m including interval).

Coffee's and other drinks and snacks will be available to purchase in our Benugo restaurant.

About Eleanor and Gregor

Eleanor and Gregor are a Glasgow-based harp and percussion duo, blending traditional with contemporary as they aim to challenge perceptions of the harp and push the boundaries of the traditional music scene. Drawing on their shared experiences in classical and jazz music, along with contemporary percussion and vocals, they form a dynamic and innovative new duo. Danny Kyle award-winners at Glasgow's Celtic Connections this year, they have recently been selected as the UK Harp Association’s Emerging Artists for 2024. Fresh from their showcase at the Edinburgh International Harp Festival, they release their debut EP ‘Let No Man’ on 26.04.24. Their music has been featured on Celtic Music Radio and Fatea Records’ Showcase Sessions.
