Join us this Thursday, 2pm-3.30pm, to celebrate the launch of Glasgow Museums latest publication, Introducing British Silver, a new book focusing on the magnificent silver objects in The Burrell Collection.
Author and Curator of Decorative Arts (1603-1800), Laura Bauld, will explore Sir William Burrell and Constance, Lady Burrell passion for their silver collection through a free talk, followed by a tour in the galleries to view highlights of the silver collection. The book will be available to buy from the shop afterwards the event.
