Autism-Friendly Early Opening

We are open early for visitors who prefer a calmer, less crowded environment. During an early opening we reduce noise levels, flashing lights and crowds as much as possible.

We will open to the general public at 11am as usual.

Sensory bags which include ear defenders are available for visitors to use during their time in the museum. These can be collected from reception. 

There is a quiet space close to reception. Please ask any member of staff for directions.
