Thursday 02 July at 12:30pm | The Silk Roads | For centuries the Silk Roads spanned China, Persia and the West. The Burrell Collection holds a rich selection of treasures from this exotic world - come and find out more.

Thursday 09 July at 12:30 | From Myth to History | Stories and objects from Mesopotamia, Egypt, Greece and Rome that trace origins of western civilisation. The early stories were myths and legends, but later ones attempt to give more accurate accounts of historical events.

Saturday 4 July at 12:30pm | Upstairs Gallery | A look at some of the fabulous objects in the upper floor craft galleries at the Burrell.

Thursday 16 July at 12:30pm | Musical Notes | Music has always been part of human life, and appears in ceramics, stained glass, sculpture and much more. Come and imagine the music of the past through the wonderful objects in the collection.

Thursday 23 July at 12:30pm | Crafts of the Past | A walk through the history of craft techniques on the Burrell upper floor galleries.

Thursday 30 July at 12:30pm | Great Sages | Philosophies and religions from East and West that have changed the world, all seen in wonderful objects in the Burrell Collection.
