Drawing Inspiration: The Mindful Line - A Drawing Workshop for Art and Wellbeing

You don't need to think of yourself as "an artist" to join us. In this free workshop you'll pick up real drawing techniques from celebrated nineteenth-century artists working from a clothed life model to explore tone, colour and media while discovering how drawing steadies a busy mind. Deep concentration anchors your attention in the
present and tips you into the state psychologists call flow: a simple,
dependable way to ease stress and lift your mood. All levels welcome, whether
it's your first time drawing or a long-loved practice, everyone can benefit
