On Museum Shop Sunday on 1 December we are hosting a pop-up bookshop at The Burrell Collection celebrating these titles. 12:15 pm - Rebecca Quinton on the European dress and textile collections at the Burrell Collection
1.00 pm - Martin Craig on working with the artist John Byrne (subject to change)
1:45 pm – Fiona Hayes on Glasgow’s social history collections, including the 1970s’ photographic survey of Glasgow, and trade unions banners
2:30 pm – Yupin Chung on the Chinese collection at the Burrell
3:15 pm – Alison Brown on European decorative arts including Charles Rennie Mackintosh and the Glasgow Style, and also on Eric Watt’s photographic collection of Glasgow
Each talk lasts 20 minutes with 10 minutes for Q&A. Free to attend. No need to
book.
