Creative Masterclass - Silver | Day 1
To celebrate the upcoming publication of our latest book, "Introducing British Silver" The Burrell Collection is offering an exciting deep dive into our silver collection with experts from Glasgow Museums, R.L. Christie and Vanilla Ink studios.
On day one, hear from the experts with a day of presentations from
Laura Bauld (Curator of Decorative Arts, 1603-1800) who will be sharing
insights into the silver collection at the Burrell and exploring silver marks,
Lyndsay McGill (R.L. Christie) who will discuss Scottish silver and Ellie
Smith-Barret (CEO, Vanilla Ink Studios) who will share insights into how
contemporary practise is influenced by traditional techniques.
On day two, enjoy and take part in a practical jewellery making session with Vanilla Ink.

interests you!
