Medieval Day!
Kings, Queens, Knights and Jesters, come ye along to the
Burrell and step into the Middle Ages!
We are back on Saturday 12 October from 11am-4pm for a Medieval family day bursting with early modern fun. Wander through the galleries and learn more about the Medieval objects in our collection whilst getting stuck into crafts, performances, tours and more!

All day - Free Face Painting (over 3’s only, there may be a

All day – Create your own shield
Lower Ground Floor (in front of the large screen)
12 – 4 pm: Calligraphy with our medieval friends from
History Matters
Outside
All day – meet birds of prey with Strathblane Falconry
2pm – Falconry display
All round the museum
There will be lots of Medieval reenactors all over the
museum – can you find the Stonemason or the Medieval Knight? Maybe you will
meet the Queens Lady or the wandering Minstrel?
